    Savage 93r17 Synthetic Stock Recoil Pad

    For those who have used a "grind to fit" recoil pad to extend the LOP on your Savage 93, what pad did you use? I want to find something that will use the factory screw holes. A one inch pad and a spacer will get me into the adult rifle sizes. Thanks.

    Density Altitude - Poll

    I'm in Colorado and the range is at 6600 ft. On just about any warm dry day the DA is around 7200 ft.

    I have a 308 Cross. About 450 rounds through it now. I've had no problems with the stock. The rifle is accurate and reliable. Because of earlier posts on this thread I went through and checked the torque/tightened all of the screws to to factory specs before I mounted the scope or shot it...
