Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
One thing to consider, for those that do not reload, 6.5CM is generally a less expensive round to buy in factory ammo. Prime, for example, sells 6.5 for $250 per case and 260 for $315. It adds up.
I really like my CZ455 in Manners stock. It's a pretty good all around package. I also have a savage in a boyds stock that is fine. If money is tight, the Boyds is ok, but if you have the funds, definitely go with manners.
I had a M&P and now run a full CMMG upper. The M&P was fine. The CMMG upper is simply better for my need and more closely resembles my other AR's, using the same lower. I run a Geissele SD3G trigger and honestly shoot the 22 way more than 556.
I take it no one has a range report then? Let us know how it shoots tacticalpanda. My trainer is the CZ 455 with Manners stock and the yo-dave trigger kit. I'm interested to know how these shoot with the spencer barrel.
Obviously 6.5 is going to be superior for long range. At 500, either will be fine. I am able to shoot factory 6.5 match grade ammo for less per round than 223/5.56 as I have had more luck selling 6.5 brass than 5.56. You can't go wrong with a Tikka in either caliber.
I personally don't believe you are going to be able to gain the same amount of strength and mass using kettlebells over barbells. For functional strength they are great. You can certainly build both strength and mass with only kettlebells but I don't think it's optimal.
I have put a 2-3 thousand rounds through my CMMG upper and it runs like a dream. It will shoot pretty much anything but prefers higher velocity ammo. I don't have any experience with Taccom but have been very pleased with the CMMG.
I have taken several on the East Coast and K&M Precision is in a class by itself. I took their 2-day course earlier this year. The facility and the instructors were all top notch and I left a much better shooter.
Question regarding the 308 Match PreOrder: What is the price per box? The website says "Our Price: $13.99" at the top but at the bottom of the page it states: "INTRODUCTORY PRICE $27.99 50% deposit of $13.99 will be charged with preorder. The remainder, and shipping will be charged at time of...
Im in a similar position to VegasKyle, with the exception being I am looking to mount one of these scopes on a SavageFCP in 308. I noticed no one responded to give an opinion of the Weaver 3-10 midway 299 special. I've read a couple reviews that put the glass on the Weaver ahead of the Falcon...
