Just purchased an Anschutz 64 MPR

455 with a Manners stock and then pillar and bed and then test brick after brick of ammo to see what shoots best and then maybe a Lilja barrel. Add it up and you will be well over the price of the Anschutz MPR. I went through the exercise with two CZ 452's. One is great, the other is a dog...

    Misfire

Your range should have a disposal bucket clearly marked for live rounds. If you are otherwise concerned, put it somewhere, take it home, put the case or the bullet gently into a vise and twist until separated. The do whatever you desire with each part. If shooting Winchester or Remington bulk...

    Misfire

Good sense dictates the round be disposed of once there is a misfire. We are talking about $.30 for premium ammo per round as compared to a new barrel if the actual bullet gets stuck somewhere and you then fire a good one, OR worse, you do yourself some, or a lot of, eye damage. If you are...

Rifle Scopes Scope Clearance: Barely Enough Room for a $1 Bill?

OP- I have mounted a scope that low. It hit when I fired the rifle. I took off the scope and installed higher mounts.

    Parallax and cheek weld

All of the above and add finer pressure, part of the trigger with the most pressure on it (must be absolutely consistent), breathing.

CZ 455 Varmint or CZ 455 Precision Trainer

The stock is the stock and the receiver and the barrel are the receiver and the barrel. Whichever you are going to purchase is going to have be pillared and bedded if you are target shooting and not aiming at a squirrel for an anywhere on the animal hit. I would save my money, go for the less...

I need advice on a rifle for a 7 year old

I am with Mr. Big. Bolt action enforces discipline, patience and control. If you really want to do it right, get a single shot adapter. No doo-dads or add ons. Just a basic bolt action rifle. When the child grows, you can just swap out to a longer stock. All things being equal, it will shoot...

    CZ 452 Project

I have the rifle and done the following AND will bring up some other issues. You need to disclose objective bell size as well as the ocular. The reasons are as follows- Objective to see what rings will be needed to clear the rear sights. I have a Weaver T-36 40mm objective bell and needed BKL...

CZ 455 vs Sako Quad - Which do I buy?

A $.60 replacement spring from ACE Hardware or Fastenal will get you down to 10-12 oz on the pull for the CZ. No kit, no nothing else needed. The only thing else I am going to say is there is a reason a Ruger RAR costs what it does, CZ's cost what they do, and Sako's cost what THEY do.

How can I get my CZ 455 to shoot better with the suppressor?

Also, CZ's are very finicky with torque settings. Where are you on those?

How can I get my CZ 455 to shoot better with the suppressor?

Although briefly mentioned, PROPER pillaring and bedding will improve the CZ.

    Bore guide for 455???

MWerks for a top quality product. Possum Hollow for a Delrin one rhat works splendidly. Whichever you get, purchase on specific for your rifle. The "universal" ones will NOT fit as perfectly.
