I have a Remington 700 .308 with a Bell & Carlson stock. I'm thinking of installing the Pacific Tool and Gauge DBM. I've read good things about that. Has anyone seen or used the AI-compatible magsfrom Alpha Industries ? They look good on thier web site. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Re: Bell and Carlson?? I just did the exact same thing to my SPS-V. Bought a BDL set up from a guy here for $50 and a B&C A2 stock--went together easily. Just keep a lookout for the bottom metal and screws and magazine box that someone is replacing and it'll be no problem. Good Luck...

I got a flyer from Dick's Sporting Goods showing a Remington 700 Varmint with a camo stock and a 3x9 scope for $449. Is this too good to be true? Is this the same barrelled action as the 700 SPS Varmint? Would this be a good starting point to build into a precision rifle...
