I stated with the Lyman T-mag about six years ago. The only things you will need to buy that doesn't come with the kit is a trickler and dies. Has a six position turret so you can two or three calibers without having to remove dies. And it has arguably the best reloading manual available...

Anybody running R17 in their 260 with 142SMK?

I had PRK done last October and couldn't be happier. The healing time for PRK is a bit longer. But the long term is supposed to be more stabile.

I found a 4-14x42 with an illuminated MP8 reticle mounted on a Savage 10Fcp about a month ago. Paid 1200 for the set up and I am glad I grabbed it. The only thing I don't like about it is the side focus has very little adjustment between 0-500.

I used some Rustoleum rubber seal for texturing, haven't had a chance to see how it stands up to some abuse but it does set up pretty hard while also giving a bit a grip. First time I did any stock modifications. Time to see how it stands up after a few trips to the range.

My 260 weighs a little more than 16 pounds and has almost no felt recoil. Even with the break off.
