Re: Putting steel cased ammo through nice ARs? I have put about 50 - 60,000 rounds of wolf ammo through various types of rifles (HK, Bushmaster, Colt, etc.) and never had a problem. I will say I stopped using laquer coated 5.56 ammo on my HK rifles because the lacquer does leave residue...
Re: ARMALITE AR10 7.62 NATO SASS MILITARY SASS RIFLE K I think you can do much better... Here is my rig. $4,280, plus another $695 for the suppressor. Optics is a IOR Scope, Suppressor is Yankee Hill.
Re: Any owners of RND rifles Thanks. Next time I am in Colorado I will have to stop by the shop. I am looking for a heavy caliber bolt or semi rifle. I use to own a Barrett M82A1 (early model) and was happy with it but it wasn't the most accurate. I haven't decided on .338LM or...
Re: .308 Semi Advice For a Noob I vote Armalite Armalite AR-10 SASS with IOR 3.5 - 18 scope Armalite AR-10 16-inch patrol with USO SN-4 1.5-6 Both equipped with yankee hill QD mount.
Re: Suppression on an AR15 I run a Yankee Hill can on my 11.5 inch upper. It still gives me compact size, but will be fairly quiet. Accuracy stays good out to 300 yards. I have run a can on a HK 53, and it functioned fine even though the barrel is only 8.5 inch.
Re: Question shooting a suppressed ar-10 carbine I have an Armalite AR-10 DMR with a Yankee Hill Can. It gets dirtier, there is no way around that. Cleaning is cleaning, get use to it and just make sure you go through the upper receiver with some good cleaner, and spray the lower housing...
I did a search on RND rifles and only found one thread that was a disaster, and it only had a reference to RND's website. So my question: any owners of RND rifles, particularly RND 2000 or RND 2500? Thanks. You can PM me as I have specific questions about your experience shooting the rifle.
Re: "Honest" CounterSniper optics review (video) I was at the range this morning talking with a fellow shooter. Another guy came up to shoot at the range we were at and he had not one BUT TWO Counter Sniper scopes. He had one mounted on a 338 LM and the other hadn't been mounted on his...
Re: ARMALITE AR-10 SUPER SASS? They are worth it. I have an Armalite AR-10 SASS that is upgraded with a custom Noveske barrel. The gun shoots great and is more accurate than my skill. Don't buy a rifle because of the name or the tacticool features, buy it because you want a good...
Re: Magnification needed for 1K to 1 mile? I have shot 1,500 yards with a Barrett M82A1 using a 10x Unertl scope. I think it is hard to say, but anything above 10x should be within the ballpark of being useable. How about a US Optics SN-3? They are great scopes and will give you a good...
Re: AR-10 single-stage match trigger Sorry for the incomplete description......my apologies. I am using the timney trigger for the AR-10, but have received soft strikes on mil-spec match ammmo. I want the reliability to be 100 percent in the instance that I might have to rely on mil-spec...
Re: AR-10 single-stage match trigger I have tried the Timney triggers and I get soft strikes with mil-spec primers. So I am looking for something more reliable.
