I have the pulsar xq35 lrf. wish I would of bought it years ago. Have it on a lanyard. I have had thermals for 7 years and used Silencerco Radius on gun for range finding Along with thermals. For hog hunting This is so much easier and takes weight off gun and doesn’t need zeroed.
I have the pulsar xq35 lrf . It Does it’s job perfectly and having an extra battery is a must after using a friends arm and it wasn’t charged and I was out of luck when I wanted to use. The hand strap is Aweful nice and I bot a lanyard to help keep out of my way.
Been using thermal for 9 yrs. When shooting hogs you need the scope to get multiple hogs that a night vision won’t allow. After 8 yrs I got a thermal monocular and makes hunting so much nicer. I would still get a scope first. It’s a pia to scan with gun but need it to shoot unlessshooting codes...
Take a piece of plywood and drill a 1” hole . Put a hot hand behind it . Cardboard allows heat to bleed thru
I put target on plywood with bullseye over 1” hole
Tactacam is great picture quality but you have to pay each month.SPYPOINT is almost a good camera with 100 free pics a month. But they aren’t as clear and have issues. I have 4 SPYPOINTs and have sent 3 back . I have 2 Tactacam s and they work flawlessly
I have 2 nomad ti and 2 trash panda’s. The nomad with plan b is lighter than trash panda. Was surprised. Both are great cans, but I do like that the trash panda doesn’t have a threaded adapter that I have to worry about.
