    When in doubt consult a reputable gunsmith or acquire, borrow headspace gauges for the caliber in question. Very simple process to do yourself with the gauges specially on a AX barrel, easy on easy off.

    XBR 8208 , AR Comp will get you in the 25's, but this is not a 1000 yard cartridge the most 400. i have shot mine to 500 and happy to get all my hits in a 18x12 plate but is really pushing ,on the other hand the grendel has no problem at the distance. .270 BC's are not greatest in 115's and...

    6mm Valkyrie

    Great idea,but i did not know Tikka has a 6.8 spc bolt face or will be modifying a .223 one. Been contemplating turning my 223 savage Mod10 into a Valkyrie with a bolt head change and waiting to see if somebody comes up with a decent 6.5 twist barrel.
