I found the 140 ELDM's to be inconsistant. I had to adjust my seater plus or minus 0.020 inches to keep a consistant CBTO. Berger and Sierra need about 0.002 plus or minus. I gave up on Hornady bullets after I tried the Hybrids and Match Kings. Still like my LnL AP press though.

Try one out for a month. If you decide you don't like stupid fast, accurate charges, you can recover your money really quick in the PX.

Can you mike the primer punch on the 2 machines? Maybe one punch is a little larger and is opening up the pocket?

140/144 Berger Hybrids, 142 Sierra MK. They all shoot about the same for me. The SMK's are slightly less expensive. I have a buddy shooting Hornady 140 BTHP from a 65 CM with very good results.
