    6GT Project/Range Report

Yep, I'm long. I dont have my load card, it's with the smith, but I think I was around 2.65 COAL. A few minutes on the Rock Chucker will take care of that. Thanks a lot.

    6GT Project/Range Report

My barrel is finally ready. I stopped by today to check and they were just waiting on Cooper Creek to deliver some test ammo. I had 50 rounds loaded in the car just in case, so dropped them off. They won't chamber. I must have read the reamer print wrong, because I thought i had 40 to the lands...

Questioning the quality of the Ckye-Pod- UPDATE - New one received !!

Ah, he was trolling. Just look at the setup in his avatar. That's no Sinclair bipod, and I dont think it's an off the shelf Savage. He went from no bipod is worth x$ to I can shoot one hole at 300 yards. Best to let folks like him just wither away and ignore their trolls. With no audience they...

Questioning the quality of the Ckye-Pod- UPDATE - New one received !!

Now that he's on vacation, check out his avatar. I dont know what that front rest is, but it's no $200 bipod. Someone else will have to ID the rifle, but I have my doubts its off the shelf.

Number of pieces in a Lot

200 Lapua 6.5 CM cases have gotten me about 700 rounds into the second barrel. Down to about 180 now.

Questioning the quality of the Ckye-Pod- UPDATE - New one received !!

If a $20 bipod and sightron scope work for you, I say go for it. It's your money and your gun. It's just a hobby for me, but i enjoy having equipment that's a little more upscale. I probably dont shoot better for it, but it's my money and my gun. I'll stick with my cykepod and Razor, because I...

Adapting a atlas clone to arca

Yes. That little rail segment, the 419 clamp and 8 inch universal rail will work just fine. Thanks to everyone. Maybe the end of this thread ended up a little better than it started out.😉

This is what mine looks like. I think B&T charges $120 to remove the pic clamp and install a ARCA clamp. If it was just 2 screws, I dont think it would be that much.

Adapting a atlas clone to arca

We once duct taped a tie rod end on a company truck to get home. Cheap sob's wouldn't spend a nickle on maintenance. Or wages, now that I think on it. And yes, I do live in the deep south.

    Precision Underground rear bags?

You called it right. The new fill holds up better for me, and I'm really happy with it. I realize you spent a good bit of time working on my issue, and I appreciate it.

    Precision Underground rear bags?

It originally had the standard fill. They suggested the new light weight fill, which is much stiffer, if that's the right word. Ive shot with it twice since I got it back, and I can honestly say my groups have never been better.
