So who has done actual groups at 200 with a tavor?

I’ve done a fair amount of load development in my Tavor 7 and found that it really likes Hornady 155 HPBT match projectiles. This is the same projectile that’s in the Hornady steel match 155’s. If you reload you will find that these will give you great results. I’m loading at 2.79 COAL and...

New member seeking help JP LRP-07

To answer your question-no, I do not consider 1.5 yrs to be a long time, but I have had a very high end scope croak from spring fatigue after sitting up for about that long. It was on a sloped base, so it was cranked down more than the average scope and it failed, not 8” or anything but it did...

Whether or not you are familiar with shooting a large frame gasser, if you are getting 8” groups it might be wise to pull the scope and put it on a known entity to verify. Might have someone go through the rifle as well to verify. This all depends on how long ago the previous owner used it...

Tavor 7; Ammunition problems- Factory vs. Reloads

Not that I’ve seen. One way to check on the Xtreme bullet is just to check the ogive compared to your commercial stuff.

Tavor 7; Ammunition problems- Factory vs. Reloads

I'm not sure what to say about that if it fires factory stuff without issue. My Tavor 7 has never seen a factory round, just reloaded LC cases. Never had a problem. I've never used a small base die either. Don't think it’s the trim length if your numbers are accurate. My datum measurement...

Tavor 7 & Baffle Strikes: searching for insight, ITT you can laugh at me

I know this is an old thread but there is a company in Texas that makes a barrel shoulder washer for a Scar17. The Scar17 shoulder and the Tavor7 shoulder are very similar and it works perfectly in the Tavor7. Anyhow, I've run that washer with my suppressor and never had a problem. Using the...

    AI Comp Trigger

For anyone running an older AW and stock skins you will need to Dremel out the back portion of the trigger hole of the skins to allow the trigger to function. Required about 1/4" to work properly.

    Scar 17 help

I agree with above. I had to special request the shim from surefire for my 17. And not alot of the cs at SF knew what I needed. I may still have mine, I'll snap a pic of it for your reference if you want. I would pay special attention to what it assume would be the brake you installed...

    338 Lapua alternative?

David Tubb is going to release a new cartridge in the next few months, a 33XC. Should be a significant improvement in performance compared to the 338LM. It can also be necked up to 375 if you want to go that route. He has discussed the case and rationale on his Facebook if you want more...

Has anyone reviewed the new Tubb rifle?

I think you will find the ATR is very capable in many forms. I sold my AXMC.
