Tavor 7; Ammunition problems- Factory vs. Reloads

Not that I’ve seen. One way to check on the Xtreme bullet is just to check the ogive compared to your commercial stuff.

Tavor 7; Ammunition problems- Factory vs. Reloads

I'm not sure what to say about that if it fires factory stuff without issue. My Tavor 7 has never seen a factory round, just reloaded LC cases. Never had a problem. I've never used a small base die either. Don't think it’s the trim length if your numbers are accurate. My datum measurement...

Tavor 7 & Baffle Strikes: searching for insight, ITT you can laugh at me

I know this is an old thread but there is a company in Texas that makes a barrel shoulder washer for a Scar17. The Scar17 shoulder and the Tavor7 shoulder are very similar and it works perfectly in the Tavor7. Anyhow, I've run that washer with my suppressor and never had a problem. Using the...

    AI Comp Trigger

For anyone running an older AW and stock skins you will need to Dremel out the back portion of the trigger hole of the skins to allow the trigger to function. Required about 1/4" to work properly.

    Scar 17 help

I agree with above. I had to special request the shim from surefire for my 17. And not alot of the cs at SF knew what I needed. I may still have mine, I'll snap a pic of it for your reference if you want. I would pay special attention to what it assume would be the brake you installed...

    338 Lapua alternative?

David Tubb is going to release a new cartridge in the next few months, a 33XC. Should be a significant improvement in performance compared to the 338LM. It can also be necked up to 375 if you want to go that route. He has discussed the case and rationale on his Facebook if you want more...

Has anyone reviewed the new Tubb rifle?

I think you will find the ATR is very capable in many forms. I sold my AXMC.

Has anyone reviewed the new Tubb rifle?

Hey Bulletsmith, who did your barrels? I got a 6xc from David and has been spectacular. I was looking for a 7 WSM or something to try.

    Tracking Point .50 M107, $20k

It is too good to be true. These guys are always testing stuff and bringing potential clients out to the range in Liberty Hill. We are shooting clays, they are missing steel plates. I've got nothing against them; they are nice folks, but it is not the next thing in precision shooting.

Accuracy International AXMC for first rifle - Am I crazy?

Nothing wrong with starting there. The AW was my first LR starter gun many years ago, and I don't regret it. Many rifles have come and gone in my safe since that time, but the AW remains today. Another posit I've learning on the AI-you can never blame the rifle. It will always be your...
