Back in 2012 I was asking what would be a good scope for 600BR and most everyone told me to get the 8-32 SIII, well, I'd like to report over the past few years these scopes have served me very well and I appreciate the suggestions...
My wife started shooting 600BR with me in late August, so now this rifle needed a couple mods done to it, LOP adjusted for her shorter stature and a new cerakote job. The folks at LRI did a fine job I think.
Shoots the same whether it's 40.2 or 40.9grs, seating depth doesn't matter as well, they all put 3 in a small group and 2 out @200yds,, why, I don't know.
I don't buy bullets n lots of 10K so I just shoot a few different loads and find the best most accurate load and load up 10 more and shoot another couple groups, chrono them to see if they're consistent and test them in our 600BR matches. If only we all had Greg's money, LOL
Have Chad coat it with Ceracotes Ultra slick coating, can't for the life of me remember the name, works pretty good. Micro Slick dry film coating is what it's called. This bolt is coated with it. https://i.imgur.com/0fxqnYe.jpg
