Re: M1A entry level scope Kind of off subject and I apologize for this but would using a wolff recoil spring, vented gas plug, and recoil buffer help with this issue and also would a combination of these parts cause any problems with the rifle cycling?
Re: M1A entry level scope That price is just for the optic itself. I plan on getting the Troy battle rail because I have heard that the majority of the receiver/side mounts always come loose. This may sound some what overkill for my needs but I would rather have too much support and make...
I was wondering people's opinion on a good entry level hunting scope for a SA M1A since the action tends to knock everything around quite a bit. Thanks
Re: Which primer to use Did no one read the rest of that sentence? I've used Sierra, 77gr OTM/MK262, when I was overseas. So not only did my friend say to stay away from them but also from personal experience. I hit a target 6 times in the chest and he kept advancin, so I would rather use a...
Re: Which primer to use I said screw it and changed almost everything. Current is Lapua match .223 brass, Berger 70gr VLD, IMR 4895, and CCI BR4 primers. Going out in the morning to test it in my AR and my Mini-14. In the process of building a new upper as well.
Re: Which primer to use A buddy of mine that reloads said stay away from sierra as much as possible plus my experience with them overseas left a bad taste in my mouth. I've had good results with hornady match rounds. I was at my wife's grandma's house talking about reloading and my wife's...
Re: Which primer to use I tested a few today and shot 1.2" at 100 yards (H335, LC brass, and CCI 400 combo). Gonna change it up a little tomorrow. IMR 4895, LC brass, and CCI BR4 primers
I am about to start loading some Berger 70gr VLD rounds in NATO brass and I'm going to use Hogden H335 powder. Which CCI primer should I use for best accuracy and reliability? I'm using a 16" 1:9 twist American Spirit Arms AR-15.
Kind of a dumb question but does anyone know if anyone makes an A1 or A2 style butt stock that will attach to a carbine style buffer tube. I'm in the process of building a rifle upper for my AR and prefer the fixed style for prone firing but don't want to have to change out the entire buffer system
So I put a KX3 on my short barrel and after 60 rounds it loosened up because the crush washer got too hot. This has never happened with my A2 flash hider. Any ideas? Thanks
Re: .22 suppressor on different rifles Its an SRT typhoon. The only difference is the receiver themselves, the 10 is a YHM with an American Spirit barrel and the 16 is American Spirit on both the barrel and receiver
