    Well, I was in from 87-91. I guess I should've said. "I know for a fact the Air Force was using .22Lr for training in basic from 87-91." You may be correct with a changover after 9/11.

    Well, I know for a fact the Air Force uses .22 LR for training in basic. Converted M16 platforms. However, I put no stock in the rumor of the govt buying it all up.
