I have a nagant that I'm looking to get a real or replica or as last resort, service to modify a straight bolt to the bent sniper pu bolt. I'm not crazy for the more modern looking bolts, I want it to look atleast somewhat original, do any of you know of anybody who has one in stock or does...
Has anybody had or heard of any experience with waffenmeisters No32 Enfield scopes or any other scopes they make? Under the description it shows that they are made in Japan and not China, also kinda weird that the mk2 version of this scope they show as 2moa adjustment? I thought the Mk2 and...
The serial starts with BG, so I guess that is BSA, The barrel and Receiver shows "BNP" with a crown emblem, The only markings on the stock I see is a branding on the bottom behind the trigger guard on the stock says 60 and some emblems I cant really make out, the rifle also has a number "1" bolt...
Something weird is if you look close to near the ejector screw is a very faintly stamped "T" but the receiver has not been drilled for the pad scope mounts, does this make any sense to you guys? I thought the T was the final stamp showing it is a T rifle after the factory converted them?
Thanks for the info, This thing is in really good shape, I don't want to mess it up, rifling looks great, according to the serial number" if I have this correct, I don't know Enfields well", it was made in 1943 and went back to the factory in England for a factory refurb in 1956, I don't think...
I was looking at getting one of these original mounts possibly. :\ This kit is kinda expensive https://www.waffenmeisters.com/optics-and-scope-mounts-c-83-1?product_id=336 I believe it has to be drilled and tapped though which I'm not to crazy about. :\
I just got a an Enfield MK1 no4 and was thinking about putting a vintage scope mount on it and want to add a scope, is there any optics out there that you all have used that gives updated glass, slightly more power but still keeps the vintage look of the rifle?
Have any of you Hunted with a Berger 144gr Hybrid or an Berger EOL extreme hunter 156gr in 6.5 creedmoor? and if so, what have been your results? And if you have any of your load data, barrel length and speed, please post it. There seems to be alot of conjecture on other forums, some saying the...
My load for my AR Krieger 1-10 18" 308 obermeyer chamber is: 185gr Berger Juggernaut 43.3gr Varget CCi Br2 primer Lapua Brass Coal 2.8145 The rifle loves these, most groups are clover or better if I haven't been drinking redbull! :) As always, work up for Safety! Berger VLD hunter are also a...
Have any of you been able to compare the glass quality between the Ares and Cronus spotting scopes? and your thoughts on price difference? One thing I'm leaning more towards the Ares is the fact that you can change out the eyepiece to a fix power mil reticle, whereas the Cronus doesn't have...
Don't fire anymore, check your headspace with a go and no go gauge, that brass bulge looks scary, same thing with all the extra dirty burnt powder on the brass.
I've had good luck with Krieger Barrels and Proof Carbon barrels, they shoot lights out as long as the rest of the rifle is built right and you do your part with good training and not shooting poopoo ammo.
