Re: replacing bolt handle on Savage 10 PC ?? Axeman, After getting it back from the bbl being threaded, it will be totally stripped and DuraCoated. Combat Black for accent parts and internals with the SL formula.... and their tactical ultra flat OD green for rec and bbl. Not sure about...- MrClean

Re: replacing bolt handle on Savage 10 PC ?? Thanks everyone! My new bolt handle came in today. Although I like the look, it seems it will not follow the lines where it attaches to the bolt as smooth as the factory one. We'll see how I like the look / feel once it's on there.- MrClean

Most Savage bolts I have seen have an allen wrench socket in the rear to disassemble.... Just got in my new 10 Precision Carbine and it's not there. Seems to be a shiny silver "button" back there instead. Have done a little searching but haven't found anything yet. Have a Kevin Rayhill...- MrClean
