I had cycling issues with mine also at first. Started running the BCG pretty "wet". Issues went away.

I run Vtac, and T.A.B. both have been flawless.

I wish you luck finding Varget. It can be difficult to find. There are a number of other powders out there that are quite good also. You can find information on that in the reloading forum here. With a 10:1 twist I have had the best luck with a heavier bullet. Try some 175 SMK's or 178 Amax's...

I have a Bushnell LRS 2.5-16x42, for exactly that application. I have had great results with it from 1 to 600 yards. Pretty affordable quality optic.

I guess I'm confused. Rock River sells 10 round pmags for $35. Still a little spendy, but you can get them. I'm not sure how many one needs.

I have found that using the RRA 7.62 mags is the best solution for me. The new LAR-8's and the new mags are highly compatible. The FAL mags can be hit or miss. Just sayin'.

I've actually noticed more components becoming available lately. I think hoarders (guilty) are pretty stocked up, and not snapping up as much as they can when it is available. Some things (Varget, 140 Amax's, etc.) can still be hard to find. Look every day. Often, every day.

By the way, you should take a look at the CRP-18. I think one could stop there. Colt ?Pro? CRP-18 Competition Rifle
