I own the MC adapter and theoretically it should only be a single hole. I've got a 3d scan of the adapter and I will do the same for the chassis and run it in my cnc to punch a hole in it. Those adapters sound nifty too.
My .308 mag is a hot mess. The follower will almost eject itself past the feed lips. I bought one of the Mc mag adapters and I’m going to add the hole to my chassis to let that mount up so I can just run any of the well functioning aics mags that I have.
I have that adapter and I am going to drill the hole that the MC has in the side of the chassis into mine so the adapter will lock in. If you dig back through a few of my posts in this thread I believe I posted a pic of that magwell adapter in this gun.
Pulled it apart and reassembled and then fully depressed the spring and follower and that helped. Must have been a strange binding issue. Even still the 10th rd is hard to load but its a fresh mag so we will see. I really can't wait to get my axmc adapter installed into this sr so I can go back...
I have a MC magwell adapter that will accept standard AICS mags that I am going to be adapting to my SR so I can dabble in different calibers in that platform. I have 3d scanned and basically done a full reverse engineering of that bolt head so .223 isn't out of the question.
Im going to be scanning the chassis soon to get the hole positioned for the adapter and then I will let you know. I am happy to try and feed and extract anything I can get my hands on
