there is a whole thread of dudes having to mess with their feed lips to get them to run right, others had issued with plastic axsr base plates breaking. Personally I had issues with a bad mag spring, and my follower was popping out past the feed lips. My only issue is with the conversion mags...

I probably would have considered collars more if I didn't already have aics mag holsters.

If the factory conversion mags were cheaper/better and I didn't already have as many AICS mags as I do I would be more inclined to run it the way it came.

Yes, there is another member here doing 3-D printed collars that go around in the AICS magazine to adapt it to the axsr mag well.

I want to shoot other calibers than .308, I want to be able to drop a mag on the ground and not have the base shatter, I want greater capacity than 10rds. I could go on.

Also posted in the ai picture thread but I am very excited to not have to use the conversion mags anymore.

...and they said I couldn't put an AXMC magwell adapter into the AXSR... Now this opens up use of the aics mags.

AXSR 308 magazine tuning - what are your feeding lip measurements?

I own the MC adapter and theoretically it should only be a single hole. I've got a 3d scan of the adapter and I will do the same for the chassis and run it in my cnc to punch a hole in it. Those adapters sound nifty too.

AXSR 308 magazine tuning - what are your feeding lip measurements?

My .308 mag is a hot mess. The follower will almost eject itself past the feed lips. I bought one of the Mc mag adapters and I’m going to add the hole to my chassis to let that mount up so I can just run any of the well functioning aics mags that I have.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

can anyone confirm if the remote has a means to tether to the rifle? I'm afraid that if it gets knocked off a velcro mount its gonna go missing.

I have that adapter and I am going to drill the hole that the MC has in the side of the chassis into mine so the adapter will lock in. If you dig back through a few of my posts in this thread I believe I posted a pic of that magwell adapter in this gun.

Pulled it apart and reassembled and then fully depressed the spring and follower and that helped. Must have been a strange binding issue. Even still the 10th rd is hard to load but its a fresh mag so we will see. I really can't wait to get my axmc adapter installed into this sr so I can go back...

Am I missing something here with the factory axsr .308 conversion mags or are they only 7 rd capacity?

I believe that once we are able to feed from an AICS magazine in the SR the caliber options really open up

they are making 223 bolts for a AXSR when a .223 mag doesn't exist?
