    NV and Thermal bridged

I'm running a 14 on the right side and a IRay MH25 on the left. Then have dedicated thermal on rifle. I run both at the same time, both eyes open. Some can do it, some can't. There are nights where my brain will only see the dominate eye (NV) until I close it and then the non-dominate eye...

    Maggie’s Socially UNacceptable Humor

Divorced last year. You have the right idea. I'm 42 and good grief these "modern" women are delusional on what they think they deserve. I've got my kid and got the snip a few years back. by no means am I going to get back into the shitshow of modern dating!

Hunting & Fishing Night Hunting - Optics Preference

Never got headaches from it. For me it's about 80% dominate eye (N/V) and 20% non dom eye (thermal). I really don't see the square screen at all it just picks up the highlights. I have the thermal on white hot, so all I pretty much see is the heat signatures overlaid on the N/V. Most call it...

Jay does great work and great to work with. He's my go to NV and Thermal guy.

Night Vision What yardage do you zero your thermal

I didn't choose a zero. I let my ammo choose for me. JBM ballistics has the Point Blank Zero feature. I looked for a round that had the necessary energy I needed out to the farthest distance I would feel comfortable shooting that also kept the flight of the bullet in the kill zone window that I...

Here's a great list of thoughts to go over at any age.

A couple I've heard from some wise men. "Think of getting married like going skydiving. 50% of marriages end in divorce. Would you jump out if your chute only has a 50% chance of opening?" (I should have listened to this one.) "Work to live, don't live to work." "Find a woman with a great...

How to get that funky smell out of your truck?

Replace the cabin filters and use one of these. https://www.biocidesystems.com/products/auto-shocker-clo2-odor-eliminator-quick-release My dad is a heavy smoker and its great to kill the smoke smell out of the tractors and our pickups.

Night Vision Combine thermal and IR? Not fusion…combined setup.

Yes, I run both at the same time, both eyes open. Some can do it, some can't. There are nights where my brain will only see the dominate eye (NV) until I close it and then the non-dominate eye (Thermal) will then overlay on top of the NV. This bridge will let me move both independently and I've...

Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

Here in Oklahoma during Deer Gun season is the only time that it isn't permitted.

Yes, and it has cost me too much money on NV and thermal. haha. Totally worth it though. I calve in the spring and my loss rate will surely go down.

Hunting & Fishing Night Hunting - Optics Preference

I've settled on a dual band spotting system (helmet mounted PVS14 on dominate eye and thermal monocular on the other). Then a dedicated thermal optic on the weapon.

    Windmill Farms

Don't do it. I fought them the whole time. Yet they convinced enough landowners (that don't live here on their land) and built them all around me, so I still have to see and hear them. The closest one to my house is just over 1/2 mile. They are a giant eye sore and not green. Talking with one of...

Night Vision Setting up a primarily day time rifle for thermal use

I would look into something like the Iray RH25 and use it for handheld or helmet mounted, then put it up front as a clip on in front your eotech. you could turn the eotech off and just look through the glass into the thermal and use the reticle of the thermal.
