DVOR have these at $310 and with the current rebate of 29% it brings it to $220. If someone is going to order one, can they order me one too and post it to Australia! The rebate is only for the US.

The bolt handle looks great, very nice work. I'm really tempted to get at least two but would like to hear your feedback on cycling the bolt. It seems the force/pressure will now be further behind the bolt when cocking (hope that makes sense). It probably won't be an issue and could help...

Likewise, I have the smaller Armasight XLR illuminator that was part of my Clip On and I have never noticed any red glow from it.

I have the VIR-II it's a great all in one unit. I'm so happy with it I'm saving up for another one. The only downside is the IR illum is only for closer range stuff and the IR laser and IR illum operate together.

Na, you don't need to drill and tap the receiver. There's six grub screws that push against the receiver when the rail is slid over the dovetail. Much like the DIP rail but a lot more solid and tighter fitting. If I need any more CZ rails in the future I might try the Area 419 out, it looks...

The 419 rail looks like a great option. I have a Murphy Precision 40MOA 455 rail and can't fault it, you can also get standard (0, 10, 20MOA) rails too. I have a DIP rail, while not too bad for the low cost, it's no where near the quality of the Murphy.

Thanks King, with your info and the above posts, I've settled on the P4i 1-4. It's USA made with German glass and I should be able to get it within my budget. Any excuse to buy a new scope is good times.
