I did something similar, only is used a chunk from a C-clamp that had a quick release button. I tried plasti dip on the foot, but it rubbed off way too easily. So far I am pretty satisfied with the results.
I didn't turn up anything with a quick search, does anyone offer 50bmg case annealing as a service? My cases are on their third reload, probably time for it.

I cannot for the life of me find my usual HS-6, and I've finally run out of 9mm. I have all the other components, just no powder. I load using a dillon 650, and HS-6 always metered very well, so I'm looking for something similar. Anyone have any recommendations that are currently available?
