They clean the chamber up with a nevieus (don’t think my spelling is correct) reamer. move seen some groups these guys have shot in the 100 yard indoor range and it’s difficult to see the difference between center fire and rim fire.. they do a good job.

Set your velocity to hand gun the off set to 6” and keep the muzzle within 6” of the unit and it will pick up all your shots I never bought anything additional for my lab radar.

I’d like to see a .3-.4 at 50 with a “cheap” ammo which I know is kind of a pipe dream. I used to have a case of pmc zapper which would do that with most rifles though, so I know it’s possible with the ammo situation right now it’s gonna be hard to tinker

Cci standard was pretty horrific for me.. unless you guys like 1/2-3/4” groups at 50 I was hoping the CZ would be more ammo tolerant than my B14r

You asked what I torqued the base to, it’s 15 in pounds, I torqued the action screws to 25 in pounds, there are no pillars so be careful several of the old farts on rfc say the spot is 20-25 in pounds on the action screws. if I still had a mill I’d drill some holes for pillars and make some...

15 in lbs it’s the bottom setting on my torque wrench. I did use a bit of nickel anti sieze as that base is a tight fit, I had to use a rubber mallet to persuade it on.

Update! So I purchased the MTR, I really like the stock and weight of the rifle. The bolt lift is pretty terrible but it’s fairly smooth for this type of rifle.
