Rifle Scopes Leupold VX-R Patrol 3-9x40 limited Vertical travels

I had problem with mounting Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40 using the Leupold IMS Mark 2 mount, ran out of vertical adjustments when tried to sight in at 100 yard. Same problem again with new VX-R patrol 3-9x40 using Leupold IMS Mark 4 mount, also ran out of vertical adjustments. Seems Leupold did...

The VX3 adjustment dial canot be reset to zero. Leupold only gives a cheap metal ring as a "pointer" reference. The Mark 4 SPR model has better dials.

    Rifle Scopes Eotech reticle comparison

There are various reticle options and I am having a hard time to decide so I took some pictures (the range is 85 yards) of the various reticles I have access to (65 MOA with 2 dots, AR223 BDC, 1 dot and a regular German #4 reticle on a scope). magnified

    Savage 10 BAT/S LE

Re: Savage 10 BAT/S LE No way this is a 1/4 MOA rifle. How many shots? Savage doesn't even have an accuracy guarantee. If this rifle shoots that well, Savage would definitely capatilize on it.
