I use Imperial sizing wax and do not clean my dies with any regiment. I have had zero problems and runout is near zero. Good luck! TR

Gunsmithing Do you fuss over headspace?

I chamber till the gauge closes with a piece of .002” shim between the go gauge and bolt face with the action hand tight. Once torqued down the go gauge fits and the nogo is a dead stop. Works for me. Tony

    Gunsmithing headspace

Yes I have a set of GO/NOGO gauges from PTG. This build is for a personal friend of mine who is an avid shooter/reloader so he should be able to wrap his mind around what is going on. By inside the lines you mean a GO/NOGO set and not brass right? Another question - will the case/web...

    Gunsmithing headspace

So I chambered my first rifle this weekend and I have a headspacing question. Before torquing down the barrel the bolt would close easily on the GO, but not on the NOGO. With a piece of clear tape on the GO gauge it would close but with a little resistance. With the brass, it closes freely with...

Setting up a range...target size, etc

My turn for what its worth...... 2moa will work. It doesnt have to be exact for each range either. The important thing is that you get out and shoot and learn your rifles. I have a range set up from 300 to 1k and find it works well with less than 2moa sized targets. The target sizes range...

I do controls for a living as an instrument tech. PID controls are used through out industry to control process loops. So in an oven, a PID controller is used to enter a set point, say 180 deg. The controller has relays with sets of contacts. The relay has a common that supplies power and a...
