Re: Glock grip angle... Nope it's not just you. If I've been shooting a 2011/1911 my 34 shoots high and vise versa. It all comes down to muscle memory. I can switch platforms with two good days of dry fire. If you really want to shoot the glock try this to get the feel. Take a good two handed...

Re: Ring height for AICS 1.5 and SB 4-16 I use the badger med high on a badger rail. It has a little less than a 1/8 inch of clearance between a 56 mm night force with bc caps and the barrel of a sps tac. I raise the cheeck piece about a 1/4 inch.

Re: Stippled AI skins It burns a little diff than a glock or sti. It allmost has a waxy feel same principle though. I turned the heat down on the aics and used a 1/8 by 1/16 tip on a snap on butane soldering iron. Be light handed though or the poly will discolor. I'm thinkin of offering this...

Re: Stippled AI skins Thanks for the kind word everyone. It takes about two hours to do. I under cut the trigger guard a little to give a little more room on the pistol grip. Those are the only two gripes about the AI short pistol grip ( for me anyway ) and slick skin surface.
