I did the update to KLB 1.289 and it didn’t work. Still the same as beforeupdate to KLB 1.289 for the fix.
Did you pair once after the update and then when opening the app afterwards you do not get the menus?@Kestrel Ballistics any advice on what to do if that update didn’t fix the issue?
I am having the same problem--trying to update to FW 1.55-- using Android (Kestrel 5700 Elite FW 1.53)Hello I have just bought the following:
Kestrel 5700 Elite Ballistics
Serial: 2826***
FW: 1.53
Boot: 1.01
BLE: 0.09
BAL: 72
HW: Rev 14F
When I connect it to my app (iPhone) the app advises I need to update to Version 1.55. I turn off the Privacy Pin and do the update - all seems to work, the kestrel restarts and the app says complete.
I then check the Kestrel device and it still shows as version 1.53
I have now done this process a total of 5 times even using my iPad instead of the phone, factory resetting the kestrel and anything else I thought might help.
Can any one please advise how best to update the software so it updates the Kestrel?
Ive logged two support cases and nothing and have also now emailed but im hoping to get better support from our community!!
