Another SIG 320 fires while holstered- SIG agreed to buy all the departments 320s back

Forgotten weapons did a good vid on the situation.

I just watched this - as fair of coverage of the situation as I’ve seen .

With the fully “cocked” striker , I guess they had to cover their ass by stating not to carry with one in the chamber.

And Ian was correct it did in fact not end the day of their social media blitz.

I have carried a Sig P320 in 45 acp for about 3 years. Absolutely zero issues. Got it used, no idea on round count. Few hundred since it landed here, no malfunctions, ever.

Holster, backpack, ditch bag.

I have always said "The gun just went off!" was half a sentence. The last half is "because someone put something on the bang switch". Zero judgement on accidental, unintentional, negligent, idiotic, whatever.

If someone wants to mail me a bucket of these "dangerous pistols", please PM for contact info. Happy to isolate them from society.

Up to 3.5 million in circulation worldwide, SIG has investigated 14 ND's all were holstered. None have discharged laying on a table, riding on a dash, in a carry bag, in a safe, in a night stand. And all the ND's were in America.
Holster company has upgraded their holster design to enclose the trigger................wonder why ?

Shouldn’t matter the holster if one follows manufacturers directions and carry with an empty chamber - he'll just stuff it in the belt or throw it raw dog in a tool box .

Interesting in that video he mentions that Robert Burke @ The Sig Armorer has a fix for the P320 issues. Robert is very knowledgeable on anything Sig pistols related. In fact I had heard he tunes the pistols for Max Michel of the Sig shooting team so Robert knows his stuff.

He tuned a few of my German Sig X5/X6 Mastershop pistols and they run great. If anyone needs Sig pistol work dome he is great.

Take away - Sigs public “fixer” admits to carrying a Glock

Says it’s no big deal that over 220,000 m17-18s had to be recalled to so they didn’t go off when dropped bumped or carried loaded .

And the total problem is holster and lights and keys and the other ms users that are just to stupid to use their products .

And never ever carry it loaded or with keys in your pocket
