Let's hope it wasn't too bad.

Doesn't look good based on the pics. Appears one entire building is probably a total loss, and with the adjacent building being connected it likely suffered heavy damage as well.

They've been my primary go-to for powder and primers for many years now, wonder if they'll rebuild or close up shop. Hopefully they were adequately insured and can rebuild, but losing that much inventory in the current market is really going to hurt.

Just got a status email from them, which is also now on the website. They still have some inventory at a separate warehouse and will ship what they can, have a plan to take care of people with open orders, and plan to rebuild.

Keeping my fingers crossed they don't get hosed by their insurer, but relieved that nobody was injured.

They included pictures in the update email...

From the FD report in the OP, last line.
"At this time there appears to be no relation to the structure fire last evening."

I thought that was an odd comment too; according to a couple local news sources there was a residential fire at a house on 6th Ave the previous evening.

I suppose 2 structure fires within 12 hours in a town with a population of 11700 makes the front page and also makes the fire department include a comment in their information release.

You're probably right. I've just seen so many chicken houses, feed barns, food processing plants go up in flames that anything like this makes me suspicious. It makes me wonder if it's the beginning of targeted attacks against the ammo supply chain now.

They responded to my post on FB that they are planning on coming back better than ever. Last report was a couple office cats missing but presumed to be laying low at this point. They seem upbeat and strong willed. Great American family business that deserves our support during this time. I know when I purchase something, I will be checking with them first and urging fellow gun owners to as well.

I actually stopped by there a couple years ago. I was working in El Dorado, KS and my coworker and I stopped by to see if we could browse.

Alas, they didn't have a retail storefront. But they were super friendly and told me I could place an order and pick it up on my next trip through... Save myself shipping/hazmat.

And they have always been great to deal with online.

Sad deal. I know at one time ( and perhaps still) they were the biggest domestic retailer of powder in the US.

I'm sure they had insurance but is there any talk of a GoFundMe or other fundraiser to help out?
