Vudoo closed the doors…

So, above with the hair, that’s David Allen Coe. He has this stanza in a song:

Well, I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got run over by a damned old train

And then, well, here we have true pathos…

Dude!! Do you have a tractor? :ROFLMAO:

Does a riding mower count? Here's Leo, part Frenchie, part alligator. Loves sleeping in the sunlight...

Dogs are the best people I know.

I guess for riding mowers, we'll have to base it on horsepower rating, since they lack a PTO. I mean, we have to be serious about this topic, right?? :ROFLMAO:

How about snakes? This guy has been living in our horse barn for about five years now. It was quite small when we first saw it, but it has lived off mice for quite a while.

Little bastards are lucky like them around some days. He ate a ceramic egg, and then probably regurgitated it in the woods. Little fucker could have at least brought it back if he didn’t want it

I catch them and relocate them, we have too many field mice around.

Standard black rat snake...? Mike, if you live where I think you live, that's pretty far north for them...

Story time, circa early oughts. Neighbor hates snakes. Any snake. But rat snakes eat moles/voles/yard vermin. So when the kids reported a snake on (not-home) Mr. Dave's deck, I went to rescue it.

Rat snake about two feet long lolling on the deck table. I go to grab it. Wife has tagged along and expresses doubt. I grab snake behind its head... gently. Snake lurches forward enough to turn and latch onto my wrist and doesn't let go. Wife turns white and heads for home.

I walked back to the opposite corner of my yard with the snake still firmly attached. Set it down in the grass; it immediately turns loose and snake-ambles away.

I thought about just laying down in the grass and wait for my wife to notice... but discretion reminded me that, once she learned I was really ok, I might not be very shortly thereafter. So I just went inside and put antibiotic ointment on the perfect snake-jaw-outline of little bloody spots.

Same here, we have lots of field mice as well. Especially around planting and harvest times. Add it that, the backside of our property butts up to a swamp so plenty of bad sneks. I keep as many rat, and king snakes as I can.
