Disney was very avante garde in the 50s. very anti gun and very,very anti hunting. Disney films have over time moved into the hard lt very PC world. the narratives are always lies and fabrications.
unfortunately successful in propagandizing several generations before they grew old enough to think critically. of course their public school teachers were feeding into the same things,as we well know. guess you approve?
First of all, these cartoons were not DIsney. They were Warner Brothers. None of their original shorts were written that way (ie. with political correctness in mind). Maybe some of the Elmer Fudd stuff was, slightly, (hence the 2A term "Fudd"), but most other things actually were about gun safety (Witness when Bugs warns Mr. Hyde, "Watch where you're pointing that gun!"). And all the other "Now, I've seen everything" jokes where the person than puts a gun to his/her head.... Granted those are "censored" in today's times, but.... at the time they were written, they weren't afraid of showing guns or making fun of them. Bugs and Yosemite Sam did that a lot.
I agree about Disney being avaunt guard in the 50's for the most part. Although there is that little problem with Uncle Remus in the 'Song of the South" feature film, and the fact that all the original Mouseketeers (circa 1955) were white Christians that often imitated different cultures when it was clear it was a white person attempting to act like a person of a different ethnicity. Consider their "Fun with Music" segments on Mondays where some of the music was "ethnic" in nature (India, Orient, etc.). Not "deliberate," or "overt" mind you, but inescapable... Like they weren't paying attention. Like they had no SA, either.
Not a new concept. THe first one that came to my mind was Solomon. That didnt work out so well for Israel.

Mulan,Peter Pan,Lady and the Tramp,Pocahontas,Lion King,Tinker Bell,Robin Hood are some that i would label as having a subtle but very PC message. don't know all of them as i tried to keep my girls away from anything Disney. if you are familiar with the goings on in the Disney Orlando world you should get the drift of the corp esp starting when Eisner took over.

"Forgiving" is one thing. "Absolving Responsibility" for the crime is something different. We all can be totally forgiving. What we cannot do is absolve responsibility for the crime. The price for that crime must still be paid. In the case of Tyler, he must still face the Justice System for what he did, and face the outcome of his trial, etc., even if that means the Death Penalty.
After last week, I believe it will only make us stronger and more resolved.

Under this standard, they were complicit in the editing and content-generation of their communications media. The SCOTUS “Cubby v Compuserve” protected them if they merely served as a conduit. But once they started to edit user communications, they became de-facto publishers. Responsible for what transpired on their sites.
If a conspiracy was created and executed on Discord or any other social media site… and the executive team had EVER engaged in content editing or censorship, then they are liable (criminally) for the conspiracy that took place in the forum they controlled.

2. The painting wasn’t going to stay forever it’s a public bridge people constantly repaint.
3. I’m not going to cry about a painting when something that really matters in the scheme of things just happened, an actual man/father/son/brother was just killed in cold blood in front of his wife and child fuck a painting that can be repainted.

I went to the vigil for Mr. Kirk in my central Texas town of Belton and it was awesome. Belton is home to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (not to be confused with Baylor University up the road in Waco). It's a religious affiliated school so I was expecting to see a lot of college age students there but was really struck by the make up of the crowd. Lots of families with kids of all ages and many middle aged and old farts like me there. Oh, and didn't see a single shit head "protester" although I didn't canvas the whole area as I'm recovering from my hernia surgery two weeks ago today so still gimping around a bit. Anyhow, God Bless Texas!!
