Just picked up a Springfield Kuna and looking for a short light cab to go on it.

Will also go on my AR 9 and future AP5. Does not need to be multi caliber and will never be used on a pistol.

Currently have a 10-15 year old Liberty Mystic but wanting something shorter and lighter.

Don’t care about most quiet, just need it to knock the blast down, we wear ear protection no matter what.

Would like it under 1.5” diameter so it will fit under hand guard on my ar9.

Last question, how important is it to have a serviceable 9mm can? Back in the day it was reccomended to have take down pistol cans to be able to clean. I run jacketed hollow points so lead buildup shouldn’t be a problem.

I really like my KGM r30k and r6.5k but the 9mm version seems kinda heavy. No full auto for me.

Was looking at the ABF-4, and the omega.

Is there a benefit to the KGM that would be worth the extra weight and expense?

Per Barracat above, consider the Omega 9K.

I have 2 of them and they are very effective. On Sig MPX and CMMG PCC a standard shot time will not trigger unless it is held close to the ejection port to get the initial pop.

9mm, like most pistol rounds have a very small amount of peak gas volume to capture and slow down. Totally different animal than CF rifle suppressors.

To me sticking a big ass suppressor on a 9mm gets no appreciable performance improvement. The big cans may look cool on PCC class guns but you need to decide if the looks are worth the increase in size and decrease in maneuverability.

I am using TBAC Fly9 and Fly45 cans on my FA PCCs. The Fly9 mostly lives on my MAC where my Fly45 stays on my MP-5 and Sten.

I havent figured out if I prefer the long or short config on them yet. My Sten seems to balance better and gets a better FA cyclic rate with the longer can where the MP-5 "looks" better short. The MAC just runs at ludicrous speed short or long...

I've enjoyed my Dead Air Wolfman on my MP5K, short configuration just looks right. the DA trilug adapter is also top of class with regards to longevity, it looks overbuilt compared to some but according to all the info I can find really stands up to hard use.

The Huxwrx Flow 9K Ti is a great can. Without the rear mount, it's under 4oz and full auto rated up to 300 blackout. You can get a Diligent Defense titanium direct thread mount which only adds like an ounce to the weight of the can.

Vastly less expensive than most of the other titanium offerings.

Here's the Hux attached to the end of my titanium SD adapter for a PCC. The SD adapter is actually heavier than the Hux.
