I would save up a little more.
You spent 1200 on a rifle and 800 on a new scope, and to take advantage of both you need them to stay together.
I am running TPS on my 300 RUM Sendero and have had 0 problems. Check with SWFA and see what...

I am using the Bushnell Legend 1200 and have ranged regularly out to 1400 yards with it. For the money you cant beat that.
Anyone try out the new Swaroski EL Range? Its a rangefinder built into binos, and is suppose to be the cats meow.

Ummmm....If you are dialing elevation for a farther target the numbers will be in order. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.

It is a very simple process. Personally I like the rifle to be as perfect as possible and leave the errors up to me.

Gas companies pay taxes. They pay a % for every MCF of gas that comes off the wellhead. I guess our schools, government buildings, recreation centers, bike paths, etc were from personal income taxes? I think not.

They sent you the wrong screws for your base. They offer the base with an #8 screw option, and they must have been mixed up.
I would contact the company you purchased these from as I have heard some horror stories of TPS customer service.

Is your follower up the whole way? I had a problem with a 700 and the follower was jammed and not high enough to catch the next round about to be chambered.
