    They really are big. I made comment to Dustin that it was like grabbing a 10oz Budweiser lol. Although... It ~is~ a 20mil turret. I would never need such a beast (pun intended?), but it's there I guess. Turrets were positive tho'...

    ...lovingly, somewhat apprehensively, and with innocent curiosity... It's a pretty neat scope. Weighs, um, a bit. This one had the Tremor reticle in it. Glassing outside SportOptics/Interstate Guns in Hammond, I thought the image was quite a leap from their (NF) NXS line...

    LMT worth the extra 1k?

    Owning both; neither is a bad choice. For me, the Ruger is more of a general purpose, run-gun rifle. Weight isn't too bad. The LMT trends toward the DMR. Mainly cause it's a PIG of a rifle with scope, mag, bipod, etc.
