Re: Need help with my CED M2 Chrono I have had occasions when mine did the same thing and all it was was the sensor was not plugged all the way in to the port on the back of the controller.

    Gunsmithing AR-15 trigger job???

Re: AR-15 trigger job??? A local here installs a screw in the bottom of the trigger at the rear to preload the sear engagement. If you have to then you can take a little off the head of the screw to adjust the "weight". You may have to take a little off the top to clear the safety lever. Got...

Gunsmithing Most Accurate 5.56/.223 AR15 Barrel for Build

Re: Most Accurate 5.56/.223 AR15 Barrel for Build White Oak Armament used to use Wilson barrels with Wylde chambers, and you could get a 1x7 twist. I have had them and I have had John Holliger(White Oak Precision)install Krieger's on my AR's. They all shot really great.

    ? Savage 10-fp stock recommendation ?

Re: ? Savage 10-fp stock recommendation ? I have a Rem700 in a McMillan A5 and a Win M70 in a HS Precision PST38 in addition to this 10FP in the Prairie Dog. All very good stocks. The Prairie Dog is probably the least expensive of the three. Shot a 10FP in the new Choate Tactical stock today...

    Iron Brigade Armory info needed

Re: Iron Brigade Armory info needed I have an IBA M40 Longrange rifle and I bought one of the Rem M40 repro's when they first came out from them. Always had good experience, no problems. IBA M40 is extremely accurate and at least by my judgement very well made.

Rifle Scopes Dating a Redfield Accurange 3x9 by serial number

Re: Dating a Redfield Accurange 3x9 by serial number You know I looked at that again and that is not a Denver Redfield. If it was it would have "Redfield Gunsight Co. Denver, Colo. Patented" rolled in between the knurling on the ocular end. That scope is probably a much later version? Japan?

    Gunsmithing SSS trigger for Savage?

Re: SSS trigger for Savage? I replaced a Timney with a SSS competition in a 10FP pre-accutrigger. Like it much better if that helps. I have never shot a rifle with the Accu-trigger, but have handled a friends. I thought it felt much crisper than my SSS.

Gunsmithing replacing bolt handle on Savage 10 PC ??

Re: replacing bolt handle on Savage 10 PC ?? The new barrel nuts have a hole in them so you need a wrench that has a pin to fit. The factory guns barrel nut is oriented so you won't see it unless the action is out of the stock.

Gunsmithing Need advice on smoothing savage action

Re: Need advice on smoothing savage action Look at Sharp Shooter Supply or look up Nat Lambeth. It doesn't cost very much to have a Savage trued&timed. It will function a lot smoother and be more accurate. It will never be as smooth as others, just the nature of the beast.

Rifle Scopes zeiss and 20moa base

Re: zeiss and 20moa base RobertB, if you are asking me, I don't know. I never ran it from top to bottom to see. I never intended to shoot this particular rifle at more than 300yds. The opportunity arose to shoot it at 600 so when I was done I cranked the knob just out of curiousity.

Re: zeiss and 20moa base I have a 6.5x20-50. I have it mounted on a Farrel 0moa base in Burris Signature Zee rings, using the 20moa inserts. It is zeroed at 100yds. I have shot it at 600yds, but haven't had the chance to go to 1000 yet. Just out of curiousity after shooting it at 600 I turned...

Problems with my new AR Short Stroking

Re: Problems with my new AR Short Stroking Yeah, it sounds like you have a gas problem. Check your bolt carrier, look at the gas key. Is it straight? If not it may have worn your gas tube off at the end so you aren't getting enough pressure to cycle. Look at the gas tube, does the bulge at...
