Noveske N4 16" 5.56mm Light Recce Basic Rifle

Re: Noveske N4 16" 5.56mm Light Recce Basic Rifle Noveske is high quality, accurate and hardly a basic rifle. My 12.5" stainless Rogue Hunter is the most accurate AR I own. Shot 1200 over a 3day course without a hiccup. If you can afford it, you won't regret it.

    OBR owners

Re: ORB owners Good post and information. I'm in the same situation when my AAC SDN6 clears Form 4, at which time I'll need to install the Blackout. Didn't know they have an updated model. Until then, I'm using the factory installed Surefire.

Widowed-- P MAGS worth it ?

Re: Widowed-- P MAGS worth it ? They are more likely not to drop free for speed reloads - big negative. Tried the sanding job recommended on other forums, and it didn't work. I like metal mags because they almost always drop free.

pinned flash hider for a 14.5 barrel?

Re: pinned flash hider for a 14.5 barrel? Both my 556 14.5" pinned and 6.8 SPC 8" PSD had A-2 replaced by AAC to accommodate the suppressor. Loud and typical but nice for the QD suppressor use. My 556 12.5" has the Battlecomp 1.5 and it performs flawlessly. Still loud, but almost eliminates...

Rifle Scopes Leupold 10x50 tac with TMR bino feedback

About to pick one up with the TMR reticle. Anyone have experience before I drop the coin? If you used it, please comment on: 1. Optics quality compared to other known brands. 2. Utility: Eye relief, field of view, etc. 3. Comparison to other tactical binos or monoculars. ie. Steiner 10x42...

    Takedown pin suggestions

My LWRC front takedown pin broke. I always like to upgrade broken parts instead of simply replacing it. I found a KNS push button pin that negates the need for spring and detent: KNS push button pin Has anyone used this and offer feedback? Or any other pin suggestions would be appreciated.

    Objectively justifying Noveske's price

Re: Objectively justifying Noveske's price Asking for objective data about a company's product on a public forum is a fair question. Complaining about their price is not good taste. If you want to compare objective data, you can always do your own tests. Other members do it all the time...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Just got my Streamlight tlr-1s for my M&P40

Re: Just got my Streamlight tlr-1s for my M&P40 I'll reiterate what's been said. I have 2 TLR-1's and they have been reliable and effective. Also use 2 of their thin pocket lights for bedside eye exams at work. Streamlight makes quality products for a reasonable price.

Sidearms & Scatterguns HK .45 or Sig sp2022 or 1911

Re: HK .45 or Sig sp2022 or 1911 Do not get the HK 45 for defense purposes, unless you're keeping it on your nightstand only. It's accurate and reliable, but large. HK 45C is more concealable, but still a full size handgun - would be my choice. Only use 1911 for self defense if you plan to...

Suppressors LAWYER DRAWN NFA Trust particulars

Re: LAWYER DRAWN NFA Trust particulars You can add or delete members in a trust, that is the big benefit. It can be passed down as well. $600 was the norm, $350 is a good price if your attorney is competent. Competition and attorney's hunger level will drive prices down.
