    My small framed 9 year old shoots a 21” 223 Ackley rem varmint contour. XLR chassis completely collapsed fits him well. It’s on an older nice remington action that I already had. If I were to start over and build one from scratch, I would do the Bighorn or Nucleus route for the prefit barrels...

    I had Short Action Customs perform their guided firing pin work on a .223 ackley that was piercing primers. Worked out great.

    I sent my Impact bolt over to SAC for their firing pin service to reduce the size. 223Ackley at nowhere near pressure was piercing primers, not any issues after getting the bolt back.

    On hunting rifles I have several Swaro Z3 and Z5s. Lightweight, great glass. I get the BT models then replace the elevation turret with an exposed MOA marked one, and get the reticle with windage holds.

    1.350" Barrel contour

    I have a Surgeon XL and a KMW Sentinel stock with NV bridge for a 338 build. The bridge is 6" in front of the recoil lug and requires no greater than an O.D. of 1.10". Can someone with a 1.350" shank barrel measure the diameter 6" infront of the lug on their contour? I have talked to Mr Cross...
