What method is used to clean dies...

I saw on here in a post to use brake cleaner... Is there anything that works better on dies and what shouldn't be used on dies. I know nothing abrasive. How often do you clean your dies? Does sizing wax build up in the dies till it will actually change the dimension of the die? Cheers, B_R

    Chrono's are they worth it?

I have $150 left to spend on my reloading setup. I have found a couple on Midway on sale. How important should they be in a reloading system? I am loading for distance, not 100 yard groups. Will 150 get me something serviceable? Thanks for the advice. Reloading .308, .223, and 9mm for now.

Which 223 die set for "plinking" ammo

Re: Which 223 die set for "plinking" ammo If you Small Base you don't need to FL size. A Small Base sets most of the cases deminision back a bit futher than FL dies. That is why you use it to size Auto and Lever Action cases sense you don't have the camming action of the bolt to really cram...

    Hornady L-N-L AP press accessories

Re: Hornady L-N-L AP press accessories I think you are taking that out of context... I got the same mag. and at that point I believe they were talking about cast bullets... Plus if you aren't using a heavy recoil load you won't need to crimp as tight, thus not doing damage to the bullet...
