    powder measure?

Re: powder measure? I recommend the Redding manual trickler. Around 20 bucks but has a very heavy base to prevent tipping and many guys seem to prefer it. I would never pay 120 bucks for a manual trickler.

    Pics-Weight sorted LC brass

Re: Pics-Weight sorted LC brass Remaction, glad to see someone else is curious about this too. I checked a bunch of LC I had as well as several bullets. I think mine was similar but didnt have quite the extremes as your test batch. Did you uniform primer pockets and deburr flash holes? Wonder...

Another DIY (sortof) SS Media Tumbler

Re: Another DIY (sortof) SS Media Tumbler Man... Now I have like 3 more projects! Nice work on all of em, I've been thinking about gettin into the SS media game but I think you just sealed the deal for me. Luckily I already have the welder setup so that should cut down on the cost...

    Amazing brass polish!

Re: Amazing brass polish! JoeB, any hardware store should have Flitz as well, probably superstores too if you're in a pinch.

    Uniforming PP is a PITA...

Re: Uniforming PP is a PITA... Make sure you're using a good quality tool, I was using a cheaper tool and it did indeed suck. Didn't cut very fast and took a lot of work to get the results I wanted. I upgraded to a nicer tool and it made a world of difference. I just chuck it in my DeWalt and...

    Which reloading press to buy???

Re: Which reloading press to buy??? Midsouth has the Rockchucker kit for 300, so 250 after rebate. Throw a set of dies in and you're a trimming system away from ready to rock for about 300 or less depending on what kind and type of dies you choose. If you're on a budget the Lee trim system is...

    Getting the M1A bug

Re: Getting the M1A bug I've been feeling the itch for awhile, unfortunately my wallet hasn't been compliant. Someday I will have one in the arsenal, but in the meantime my BRD is cheaper to feed and being able to piece an EBR together over time means that is how I'll get my fix... Until I...

Talk to me about my reloading setup

Re: Talk to me about my reloading setup Oh and primer pocket uniformers, and a flash hole uniformer if you want to get that picky.

Talk to me about my reloading setup

Re: Talk to me about my reloading setup Sounds pretty good. You forgot a bullet puller, you'll need it. Also I'd get the Redding trickler, I looked at all the major brands and it feels like it's filled with lead. Very heavy, very stable, near impossible to tip over. I have also heard so-so...

    Hornady 53g V-Max???

Re: Hornady 53g V-Max??? I've got some test loads already loaded up with them but haven't got to shoot them yet. I thought the same as you, can't beat the BC with anything in that weight range. I've heard great things on hunting forums. Midsouth had them for like 15 bucks for 100, cheap...

Options for a high quality, fast 3 way trimmer

Re: Options for a high quality, fast 3 way trimmer crowsniper, I'm currently using the Lee cutter as well in a drill. It is fairly quick but I hate the chucking and unchucking the case, it is the time consuming part. Also with a 3 way I wouldn't need to trim or deburr hence saving even more...

Options for a high quality, fast 3 way trimmer

Re: Options for a high quality, fast 3 way trimmer How is the consistency on COL with the Giraud? Ease of switching calibers etc? I want speed but not at the cost of accuracy and consistency.

Options for a high quality, fast 3 way trimmer

What do I have for options, and especially quality vs cost? Would prefer power options as well since I will be processing several thousand rounds of 223 for plinking. Want the 3 way cutting head because of the gross amount of time and hand wear it will save me with volume like that. SO, what do...

Loki 18" double fluted barrel, any feedback?

Been looking to replace my 16" bull barrel on my AR15 with a lighter weight 18", hoping to drop a little weight and pick up some FPS. So far I can't really find anything in 18" that would save me much weight, and get me match quality accuracy. Came across this Loki, looks like it may fit my...

SIG Trailside problems, inconsistent trigger pull!

Re: SIG Trailside problems, inconsistent trigger pull! I know exactly what spring you're talking about Davinho. Never had a problem with that one at all, other than trying to find the damn thing when I go to put it all back together! That is an odd problem, the grip should hold it in. Was the...

SIG Trailside problems, inconsistent trigger pull!

Re: SIG Trailside problems, inconsistent trigger pull! Update - on a league with a 500pt max, I finally tore my pistol clean apart and found the problem. It was fouling in the hammer where the sear contacts. This made an incostistant/poor contact of the sear and I was very lucky I didn't get...

Dissapointed with the finish protection on 700 SPS

Re: Dissapointed with the finish protection on 700 SVS Crypto, my thoughts exactly! The old man has a blued 870 Wingmaster that he bought in high school and has shot more ducks with than many people could dream of. Anyone that's duck hunted knows that a duck gun is probably one of the most...

Dissapointed with the finish protection on 700 SPS

Re: Dissapointed with the finish protection on 700 SVS Actually was oiled up with Breakfree CLP. I know the finish isn't the best for protection but I just thought the timeframe for that type of rusting to happen was ridiculously short. Hell my duck gun takes a thousand times more abuse and...
