Looking for one well suited pistol powder.

Re: Looking for one well suited pistol powder. I've been using Alliant PowerPistol for my 9mm and .38+P loads. It's supposed to work well in .45 too, though I'm not sure about the 9mm Makarov. I only shoot jacketed bullets, but it might be worth looking into.

What itouch cover are you using?

Re: What itouch cover are you using? I have a Speck PixelSkin that I usually use. Not bad for a relatively cheap rubber cover and it gives it a raised edge around the screen. I drop that into an extra Oakley M-Frame bag I have, protects the screen a little since I don't have a screen...

    Climbing and rappelling gear

Re: Climbing and rappelling gear Check out this book: "Mountaineering - The Freedom of the Hills". It has a ton of info and diagrams with regards to anchors, belay devices, etc. A book alone won't keep you safe, but it's a good explanation of the basic principles and proper use of...

Suitability of ATS Low Profile Chest Harness??

Re: Suitability of ATS Low Profile Chest Harness?? Several of my buddies have that ATS rig. It's a well made, simple chestrig. Consider adding a 3 mag shingle over the existing three and you'll have plenty of ammo. The two side pouches I believe will just fit a Nalgene bottle. Their Low...

Boots for Astan and Army schools

Re: Boots for Astan I bought a pair of Lowa Elite Desert boots to supplement my Garmont T8's while in Iraq. To me, Garmont's are like the modern day equivalent of green jungle boots, lightweight and very comfortable. The Lowa's are a different style boot, but very comfortable and...

    Help with Comms

Re: Help with Comms I'd try some of the electronic earmuffs such as the Howard Leight Impact Sport, which go for about $55-60. Or on the other end of the spectrum, MSA/Sordin Supreme Pro's which go for about $280. Combined with a set of earplugs, it should give pretty good protection from...

Re: Sage EBR vs Troy MCS I just received a grey Mod 0 Sage stock from Clyde Armory for my SEI build. I first contacted Sage about purchasing from them and they directed me to Clyde Armory as their retailer. I finally got a direct purchase price from Sage and even with a military...
