    Re: caliber potential, 7mm v .30 Either one will work and no you don't need anything bigger even out to 1000 yards with the right bullet you will be fine with either. The 7mm will shoot a little flatter and recoil less then the 300 win but both are very accurate.

    Re: 338 edge, lapua or RUM? I was in the same spot and after doing a lot of research I went with the 338 RUM. I am only giving up about 100fps to the edge or Lapua so it is not a huge deal. The only thing is the 338 rum brass is seasonal so when it come out buy a bunch of it.
