    Re: Realistic range of the 338 Lapua I have only tried the mile one time out. Fired 3 shots got it with the 3rd. Didn't have the luxury of a .338 Lapua though. I was shooting 190 smk and a .300 RUM. I can't wait to go try agian.

    I am setting up an DPMS LR308 24". I intend on putting a USO ST 10x44 on it. Also intend on a 20moa rail. With that being said will low ring be tall enough for this set up? The Leupold rail will add some height but I don't know if the scope will clear or not since I don't yet have this scope...
