    Teaching children to aim.

Re: Teaching children to aim. I think Indyssd is right, I had the same issue when I started taking my boy shooting. He was 9 and I was worried about starting him with iron sights, all i had for him to shoot was a ruger 10/22 with a bsa scope. He had shot bb guns 2 or 3 times with iron sights...

Re: Svage VLP-DBM My dad has the magless version in 243 win without the accustock and it shoots 1MOA out of the box with 100 grain hornady ammo, I am wanting something that will shoot about 1/2 MOA with a bedding job and handloads, I have heard several guys say you cannot go wrong with the...

    Next rifle long range shooter

Re: Next rifle long range shooter Okay stay away from Lawton, is there a particular reason, wanting to shoot 168-180 grain bullets, hunting out west, 300-500 yards, probably will be working into tactical matches. Thanks,

    Next rifle long range shooter

Re: Next rifle long range shooter About $3000 for the rifle, I have considered the Savage 300wsm VLP-DBM has about everything I need, I just know that a custom built rem action will be better for long term investment and by the time I upgrade the savage laminate stock I will be in that one...
