Rifle Scopes Why I trust Aimpoints

Re: Why I trust Aimpoints +1 Made me feel good about my m4s. Aimpoints are super tough with great engineering all around. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: rchman</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Although this is for DD, this video sold me on an...

    Rifle Scopes 10/22 optic

Re: 10/22 optic Bevan - My mistake, I assumed you wanted 'real' advice, not a fan club telling you go spend 800-1000 bucks on an ACOG. Your 10/22 rifle costs about $250 here in the states. One would assume you'd want advice based on what would compliment your equipment. An ACOG is a battle...

    Rifle Scopes 10/22 optic

Re: 10/22 optic For my 10/22, I picked up a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 at the local Cabelas. Really good quality and a good price ($150 ish). I was really surprised at the clarity of the lenses (in a good way) and every bit as nice as the $300+ leupold models. I'd say it's worth a look if you...

    Rifle Scopes Warne Tactical rings

Re: Warne Tactical rings I had the warne tac rings (30mm) and sold them for the leupold mark 4 rings. I found the leupold rings had a much better fit to my rail (no front to back wiggle on my rail). Also, the vertical split design on the warne rings make it very frustrating when you want to...

Range Report - New GAP .308

Re: Range Report - New GAP .308 Nice shooting. For my FN SPR, I found that 43gr of IMR4064 and a sierra 168gr bthp bullet shot consistent sub moa (usually better than .5 moa if I'm doing my part). Congrats on great shooting and a great looking rifle. P

Okay FN SPR guys, what are you running.....

Re: Okay FN SPR guys, what are you running..... I use 43gr IMR 4064 with the sierra match king 168's at 2.8" COL. I've been consistently shooting 1/2 (sometimes better) groups. Ive heard that federal puts 4064 in their gmm loads. 6mmbr.com gives some good loads for 308 as well. Out of...

Customize 5R, buy FN Spr, or buy a used custom

Re: Customize 5R, buy FN Spr, or buy a used custom you could get an FN A5m for around 2000-2100 on GB(comes with the fully adjustable mcmillan a5 stock). It will come out of the box shooting atleast 1moa and in reality closer to .4-.5moa. It can also be fitted w/CDI bottom metal and use the...

FN TSR XP vs. Patrol PBR XP in 300WSM

Re: FN TSR XP vs. Patrol PBR XP in 300WSM The tsr appears to have an adjustable trigger. That is the only difference that I could see. I used to have a pbr xp in 308 and I had a timney trigger installed. Ironically it looked just like the tsr rifles at that point. Otherwise they seemed...

    FNH and customer service

Re: FNH and customer service I've had 2 FN Rifles. 1st was a PBR XP and now an SPR A5. I can't speak of their customer service since I've never had to call, but the quality of my rifles have been top notch. Best group with my a5 was .2moa so far w/fgmm 168gr.

    New FN SPR A5

Re: New FN SPR A5 Well I went out again today. I only did 3 shot groups so I won't post pics but my best 100 yd group measured .2 moa and my 200 yd group measured .55 moa. So far I'm pretty happy. I got one those TAB bags from riflesonly.com and that makes it really easy to get a steady shot.

    New FN SPR A5

Re: New FN SPR A5 I had a PBR that shot .3-.4 groups w/the right ammo (3 round groups). So far this one is off to a good start as well.

    New FN SPR A5

I'm a long time lurker but finally decided to post some pics. Sold my old PBR and got my new rifle this week. I could use some work on my part but the hardware is top notch. This thing is almost boring w/how well it shoots the FGMM ammo. It was getting dark by the time I was ready to go to...

    FN PSR III

Re: FN PSR III these showed up in the 2009 catalog but disappeared after that. Probably the price point between the TSR and SPR didn't make sense to carry this model.
