Suppressors Electronic Form 4 Wait Times

I got on last night around 10pm eastern. It really surprised me as I've noticed around after like 5 I can hardly get the login page to load. But last night it went by really smooth. Today no joy at all. First time I'd been able to login in around a week though.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Kimber 1911's

I've got one I bought new 5 or 6 years ago. It's one with the aluminum frames, Tac Custom, I believe was the model. I like it well enough and outside of me dicking up the grip screws I've not had an issue with it. I do have one bushing hole in the frame that is stripped that I need to get an...

    Removing surface rust

My house burnt my sophomore year of college. Luckily the guns we had fell through the floor and landed in the basement and junk fell on them so most survived but they all had water damage from the fire department. On most I used triple ought or 4 ought, I can't recall, and CLP with pretty good...

Need a good rifle rack for the Jeep; a few options

I got an 05 TJ as well. Long since tossed the rear seat too. The longer pelican case 1750 I think will fit perfectly on the rear wheel wells side to side. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to get it in an out if you have the top on. With it off I can slip it from the side. To secure it if I...

Suppressors Anyone have a problem with Kidd barrels? TBAC 22L doesn't fit....

I picked up a kidd barrel a few weeks ago. I'm still a couple months out on my rimfire can, SWR Spectre II, but I had them thread it to the specs that silencerco lists for it. I'll try to toss up how it goes when I get my can in.

How many rounds out of new barrel before it reaches potential?

I only have experience with one premium quality barrel. But was it something like 15-20 rounds and I could really tell the groups shrink up. I started off with the intentions to follow to the letter GAP's breakin procedures but that all went away after about 5 rounds. Just kind of got excited...

    1907 sling treatment

yeah petroleum will eventually break the leather down. whatever you decide to you clean it with some saddle soap. It's really mild and won't damage it and apply a treatment that'll add oils and what not to it. I don't know about peanut oil first hand. I don't honestly know why it wouldn't be...

    1907 sling treatment

On a turner leather sling I've since retired, planning on putting on a rimfire though, I will rub some obenauf's on it occasionally.

    10/22 bedding

I got the barrel channel almost bored out enough last night. Did it by hand wrapping some sandpaper around a socket a touch bigger than the barrel diameter. Still getting contact at about the front two inches. I'm unsure if I need to go deep or it's barrel droop. Going to look at it again...

    ambi safety question

Was definitely the wrong detent pin. I'm guessing I was using an extra takedown pin detent in there. The kit had what appears to be an extra one and a spring (thankfully cause I lost one shooting it across the room). Put the proper detent in and it works great now. Thanks guys.

    10/22 bedding

Axeman I was thinking of trying to use the factory stock. I like the look of the reddish wood, birch I believe, and sanding out the channel to fit the new barrel. Also thought of a boyds tacticool. I'm really wanting to keep a wood stock on it. But not break the bank. lol MarkCO I have the...

    10/22 bedding

I've searched the web for the last few days and haven't found much agreement on bedding a 10/22. Some say to free float and others say to bed part of the barrel and still other says to bed the action and part of the fore end of the barrel. What's your guys thoughts on it? I just put a kidd...

    ambi safety question

    ambi safety question

I'm putting together my first AR for an SBR build. I've got a Spikes lower and a Spikes enhanced lower parts kit. I was putting it together today and had a few issues with the safety selector. First issue I think I've resolved is I was using the wrong detent for it and when I put the grip up...

Suppressors Electronic Form 4 Wait Times

I put it off for a month but it got the best of me. I ended up refiling and canceling my previous submission with "multi" as the caliber for a form 1. Figured it was better to go ahead and do it instead of waiting two more months and having to do it anyway.

water canteen that you can boil in.

Canteen shop has good stuff you won't be disappointed at all for a traditional looking canteen. For a water bottle looking container try the Kleen Canteens. They are SS steel as well.

    Suppressors Electronic Form Browser Question

I use IE 11 with it. I had to add atf.gov to the compatibility view settings. From my understanding it basically reads the and interfaces with the page in a retro mode. I had no problems filling out and uploading my trust documents for a form 1 after I did that.

Suppressors has anyone used a revocable trust as a gun trust?

I'm pretty sure my trust is a revocable living trust. I'm not to keep on the whole trust/corporation legal issues but I'm thinking the lawyer wrote it as such.

    Hearing protection

I picked up a pair of pel-tor sport tacs ( I believe that's the model) last year. I really enjoy them. WIth just foam plugs my ears didn't ring, but they'd get sore from taking them out while reloading mags or whatever and putting them back in over and over again. With the electronic ones I...
