Spent allot of time walking and banging horns together last weekend, then we actually walked up in this guy. He was more concerned with the tail he was chasing than me. Setup was a 7mmRM with a 180 Berger. He was DRT. Best part of the weekend was hunting with my 8 year old and having him rattle...- trigger time

The jacket is a little stouter than Berger hunting VLD's so you not going to get quite the effect that a 140 vld will give, but I haven't had to chase or track anything I've shot with them. Range Report 7mm heavy question
Re: 7mm heavy question I went through the same thing a couple years ago and ended up with a old school 7mm rem mag. Main reason is hunting. Any wally world in elk/ deer country should have it on the shelf should something happen with my ammo. Brass is easy to find from Rem, Win, Nosler...- trigger time

Msa/Sordin & Peltor so many choices??
Re: Msa/Sordin & Peltor so many choices?? I ended up going with a pair of the Howard Lieghts, run the volume up high and wear a pair of the plugs under them. You can hear range commands fine and muzzle blast is all but non existent.- trigger time
