    .223 69 grain vs. 77 grain

Re: .223 69 grain vs. 77 grain I run 77 smk's in my AR, they also shoot sub moa in a 1-9" twist Rem XCR compact tac. your rifle may stabilize em too. If you shoot 500+ B.C. rules especially in the wind, plus much more retained energy for ringin steel or what ever you plan on killing.

    AR 15 brass ejection marks

Re: AR 15 brass ejection marks Reload and shoot it. Won't hurt a thing. Even after they are reloaded and shot you will still see a smudge from each dent left by the deflector from past firings, I count the marks to see how many times the lot of brass has been shot.

5 FTFIRE with reloads for 223, WHY?

Re: 5 FTFIRE with reloads for 223, WHY? Could be a bad batch of primers too... but my guess is excessive headspace

Cleanest burning ball powder for .223 (AR15)

Re: Cleanest burning ball powder for .223 (AR15) Interesting comments about TAC being dirty I have not experienced it that way, burns so clean in my AR when unsuppressed it takes a couple loadings on a piece of brass to blacken the inside of the case, and suppressed it is still cleaner in my...

    Suppressors Got my first suppressor...

Re: Got my first suppressor... I know where you are coming from, it sounds like they could handle the transaction in a more professional manner. Also a thing to remember is, patience is the name of the game with NFA items and you are tied to the dealer until he transfers you the item. It's in...

Whats the story on Tikka T3 lite rifle in 308

Re: Whats the story on Tikka T3 lite rifle in 308 Overall I think they are a good rifle, on par with the 700. That said, I had one in 22-250 SS varmint and sold it. The good: Accurate (in the .2s for mine) Super smooth action after break-in Shorter bolt lift Better factory trigger than 700...

    223 1-9 twist

Re: 223 1-9 twist My XCR (1-9") will stabilize Hornady 75g BTHP, and 77g SMKs, but wont sufficiently stabilize the 75 Amax, no keyholes just 3-6 moa accuracy.

    Noveske 7.5 Switchblock?

Re: Noveske 7.5 Switchblock? I think you are missing what dogman is saying. The extreme muzzle blast from a barrel that short will destroy a suppressors baffles in short order. Running a switchblock would still help the BCG velocity/wear but nobody in their right mind would want to toast a...

Gunsmithing Bore solvent, best one out there?

Re: Bore solvent, best one out there? Notaguru, are you are referring to Montana Extreme 50 BMG as being one of the worst for barrels? I have to say that I have researched it quite a bit and found that it is ferrous and non ferrous metal safe. Also states on the bottles and their website...

Re: .308 or 5.56 whats your go to rifle and why? LWRC556, with what you have posted so far, I feel confident in saying that if a scenario such as you have insinuated actually occurs you won't have to worry about making it to the "next" round. Just grab all the RPG's you can fit in your BoB...
