    Re: 7.62 - JP or Noveske or KAC or Larue?? I have the KAC and the Noveske. I prefer the the Noveske over the KAC in terms of accuracy and cost. I saved a chunk by just buying the Noveske upper and fitting it to an Iron Ridge lower. The only thing I like better on the KAC is the chromed bolt.

    Re: M16 to 1k Standard yearly qual was to 2 ,3, & 500yds. 1K was not part of the qualification. With 80-90gr bullets, the M16/AR will make 1K. Not uncommon at inter-service or long range service competitions.

    Re: PR vs. S&B To me the glass is about the same. I like the bigger knobs on the PH and its a little more robust. The only complaint I have is my PH clicks are too close together. The S&B has a refined feel in the knobs and smaller profile.

    Re: Will the LMT MRP piston kit fit any upper? There would have to be a way for you to secure the barrel extension to the receiver. The LMT design uses two bolt's to clamp the ext. in place. If you could find a way around that, I guess it could work.
