    Pelican 1750 & air travel

Re: Pelican 1750 & air travel I've flown several airlines using a 1720, loaded mags, mags and arms in the same case with no problems. As long as you declare each firearm individually, I find it easiest just to get to the desk and say "Can I also get [X number] of firearm tags?" At the same...

Advice to newbs...get yourself some steel targets

Re: Advice to newbs...get yourself some steel targets I've always just picked up scrap mild steel from the steel yard or rusted sewer caps. Usually I end up severely denting or blowing holes in it. But as a metal fabricator, grinding and welding it back is half the fun!

    Rifle Scopes Age old question

Re: Age old question Personally I like MOA, and the NP-R1. But like many things in firearms, its better if you try several different ones and use what you feel comfortable with.

    Rifle Scopes Red dot positioning

Re: Red dot positioning So in the end it boils down to where you like to have it. Personally, I like it right over the gap between the upper and the barrel, if you have a monolithic rail. But you really have to decide what works for you.
