Who uses their Sako TRG as a "beanfield rifle" ?

Re: Who uses their Sako TRG as a "beanfield rifle" ? I run a Viking Tactics (http://www.vikingtactics.com/prod_sling_VTAC-MK1-a.html) sling on my TRG-42 when it's in "beanfield" mode. I initially just put it on there because it was what I had lying around, but I've left it on there for quite...

    Fn Spr a3g

Re: Fn Spr a3g Just need to look at your goal--Are you interested in making small groups of precisely placed holes at 600 to 1000 meters or lots of holes quickly placed at 500 meters in. Once you answer that question, you can't go wrong with either the FN bolt guns or the MWS.

    Trigger for FN SPR

Re: Trigger for FN SPR Agree with tepeter1. Work the trigger that came with your rifle and put the money into something else.

    FN SCAR H opinions

Re: FN SCAR H opinions 16 is underwhelming for all the initial hype. 17 is a nice 7.62 platform, but my biggest complaints are the reciprocating charging handle and the proprietary mag. The charging handle won't be a big deal for most guys at a flat range, but if you're shooting and moving...

    FN SPR......Sexing things up!

Re: FN SPR......Sexing things up! There may be others out there, but CDI Precision Gunworks is what is on this rifle and is what I'll put on any future FN SPR builds I put together. Jeff has built a great piece of kit for an action that unfortunately gets overshadowed by the mass-quantities...

    FN SPR and others

Re: FN SPR and others Thanks, Banshee. She shoots as expected. Came out of the box just under 1moa and after being bedded by Mark at SAC, she's at 1/2moa. (I know, "no pics..didn't happen.) I've shot against guns that can outshoot the FNs, but I could buy two or three FNs for what they...

Re: FN Patrol 308 fluted, Hogue Stock - Accurate? I have a PSS in .308 and a FN SPR in .308. Both are great rifles, but the PSS will be the one to go when it's time for the next build.

    Photos new toys for playing

Re: new toys for playing I can't believe I'm actually going to respond to this stupidity and ignorance. However, I'll point out some gross inaccuracies in this thread. First, there is no such place as "Ft. Knox Tenn" and, second, there is no program, nor has there ever been, a program that...

Is Sako Trg 42 in 338 lm Gtg?

Re: Is Sako Trg 42 in 338 lm Gtg? You'll be more than happy with the TRG-42. I've used mine for everything from matches to elk hunting in the rockies and it performs flawlessly every time I pull the trigger. If I miss, there is no doubt it was my fault. Make sure you buy great glass...

Gunsmithing FN SPR and CDI Bottom Metal

Re: FN SPR and CDI Bottom Metal Jeff did my A5 and the look, fit, and function is perfect-not to mention quick turnaround. As for ammo, she really likes 118LR but I've yet to shoot a quality factory load that the FN didn't keep under 1.5MOA. Best advice I got as a new guy getting into...
