    Thanks Vic. I have a milspec 3x. I'm not a fan of the Eotechs either and was hoping an MRO would be better. We have some Eotechs at work that I'll try and see if it works well enough that I can forget about their past and overlook the poor design of their intensity buttons.

    No. It has a common earphone style plug. I think they may have used a camera pressure pad. I cut an old standard pad and spliced it to a earphone jack so I would have a decent pad before I sold mine.

    which bipod?

    I've gone away from using bipods to shooting off of a barricade bag instead. Our range has concrete tables and the bag helps me manage the recoil better. I found that in more practical scenarios the bipods are pretty useless and just extra weight on the gun so I ditched them.

    I used some to replace the plastic BBs in a TAB rear bag. It feels identical to what is inside of my pump pillow and reduced the weight to almost nothing.

    Hobby Lobby has polystyrene foam snow that would cost you less than $10 to fill a modular bag. They were 50% off today. You could also put smaller barricade bags or rear bags inside the modular pump pillow and pull them out if you need something smaller.
